One Third of King size quilt

Feb 1, 2012

My king size quilt will be made in three sections. In the photo above, you can see the 1st of the hand appliqued blocks sealed down on the french fuse foundation. One continuous piece of French Fuse covers the entire drawing of this 3rd of the quilt.  This one block will be the only hand appliqued block in this 3rd of the quilt. The other 2 blocks of that same size in this unit will be done with my No sew technique. You can see the white lattice design with the larger vine border that begins to frame the quilt. All this is accomplished the No sew way by building applique style from the background to the foreground turning edges with glue stick and sealing down
