I replaced 2 pieces that did not “read right” as a tree truck through the tessellating maples leaves.  This photo shows the French Fuse over my numbered drawing and the top pieces (with turned edges) gently pulled up. It also shows Pattern piece A with seam allowances added, and Piece B

already replaced with extended seam allowance tucked under a leaf section and the left side turned under with glue stick that forms a finished top edge to that piece. The stiletto is pointing to the next piece to be replaced with pattern piece A. Then the pulled back section will be re glued and sealed down.
