20 minutes at a time
Jan 19, 2016
I am determined to finish this 1st of 2 twin size Day Lilly quilts before the end of January. A friend sent me a lovely quote by Marie Beynon Ray:
Begin doing what you want to do now....
We have only this moment sparkling like a star in our hand and melting like a snowflake.”
I have been setting my kitchen timer for 20 minutes, when it rings, I have to get up and turn it off, then I will empty the top rack of the dishwasher, set the timer, quilt for another 20 minutes, do another chore. If I waited until all the chores where done - I may be too tired to get to what I wanted to do. This way it is good for my body to get up and move, good for my eyes to look into the distance and I am getting on with my quilt project... And eventually having a clean kitchen!
