Ann Holmes,

Home Economics major turned stained glass artist, has been producing site specific stained glass since 1976.  She has many commissions to her credit, including the 18-foot-wide storefront window for the Asheville Area Arts Council in North Carolina.  In 2002, she began to recreate some of her original stained glass designs in fabric, for example “Rainbow Falls” shown below.

Ann welcomes commissions in custom quilts as well as stained glass.  Ann is also available as a lecturer and workshop leader for a new quilting technique she has developed called French Fuse Appliqué – No Sewing until You Quilt It.
